The Prime Minister appreciative of regular meetings held with international donor organization representatives
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan welcomed today international donor organization representatives to the Office of Government.
Greeting the guests, Tigran Sargsyan said to be highly appreciative of meetings like this as they may help identify priorities and strategic areas of cooperation.
RA Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan reported on status of interaction between Armenia and international donor organizations. He gave a brief description of government priorities and IDO-supported programs implemented in different areas of activity.
Emphasizing the importance of similar exchanges, the representatives of donor organizations thanked the Prime Minister for having initiated this meeting.
A broad range of issues of mutual concern have been discussed. Those present pointed to the need of having a joint action database and ensuring proper coordination of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between donor entities.
Summarizing the meeting, the head of government charged the Ministry of Economy to undertake efforts toward the launch of a GoA-DIO cooperation-dedicated website to provide information on joint programs.
It was decided that meetings in this format should be held every 3 months.
