Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s condolence message on the passing of RA People’s Artist Arax Davtyan
I was deeply saddened to learn of the demise of RA People’s Artist Arax Davtyan.
Few are blessed with the privilege of enjoying lifelong celebrity and authority: Arax Davtyan was one of them. She had exceptional endowments as an opera singer whose artistic brilliance won over hundreds of stages worldwide exciting several thousands of opera fans.
The generously gifted artist and the beloved teacher went side by side in Arax Davtyan’s personality whose immense contribution to the cause of training several generations of Armenian singers cannot be overestimated.
In this hour of sorrow, I am offering my sympathy and support to the family, fans and pupils of the great singer.
