Lars Tanel welcomed by Tigran Sargsyan
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today a delegation led by IFC Executive Vice-President and Director-General Lars Tanel.
Greeting the guests, Tigran Sargsyan said to be highly appreciative of International Finance Corporation’s commitment to investment programs in Armenia.
The parties went on to discuss possibilities for implementing development-oriented projects in Armenia’s energy, mining, farming sectors and shaping its equity market.
Armenia was said to be in process of institutional reforms. The pension reform has been highlighted in this context.
Both sides emphasized the need for developing and expanding cooperation, including the Corporation’s participation in investment programs.
