IHF President received by the Prime Minister



Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan welcomed today International Handball Federation (IHF) President Dr Hasan Mustafa.

Dr Hasan Mustafa said to have arrived in Armenia to attend the second international handball tournament under RA Prime Minister’ Cup.

Tigran Sargsyan said this second edition of RA Prime Minister’s Cup as disputed by the national teams of four countries and Dr Hasan Mustafa’s stay in our country will give a strong boost to the development of handball in Armenia hopefully getting more and more Armenian teenagers involved in this sports event. The head of government went on to emphasize that everything will be done to reinstate Armenian handball’s best traditions and build on the existing potential.

Highly appreciative of the ongoing cooperation with the Armenian Handball Federation, the IHF President presented the outlook for interaction development.

Dr Hasan Mustafa concurred with Tigran Sargsyan in that the Prime Minister’s Cup will go a long way toward popularizing this game in our country.

Held for the second time this year, the Cup was contested by the national teams of Armenia, Belarus, Iran and Georgia.
