RA Prime Minister’s Cup goes to Belarus
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan traveled to Vanadzor to join Handball International Federation President Hasan Mustafa in attendance of the second handball tournament under RA Prime Minister’ Cup.
The Cup was contested by the national teams of Armenia, Belarus, Iran and Georgia.
Greeting the participants, Tigran Sargsyan noted: “Dear friends, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on this festive occasion. You may agree that the tournament was a success. It will give a strong boost to the development of handball in Armenia.”
The head of government thanked all the participants for good performance.
The national team of Belarus proved to be the strongest in the final stage of the tournament. The northern athletes were followed by the teams of Armenia, Iran and Georgia respectively.
On the sidelines of his visit, the Prime Minister was hosted in “Gloria” clothing factory which currently provides 500 jobs, expected to reach the mark of 800 by yearend.
