Armenian Prime Minister and Slovenian President discuss economic cooperation agenda
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Slovenian President Danilo Tjirk on the sidelines of his ongoing official visit to the Republic of Armenia.
During the working dinner hosted in honor of the high-ranking guest, Tigran Sargsyan presented Armenia’s economic status and development prospects. At the request of Slovenia’s President, the Prime Minister spoke on his government’s anti-crisis efforts. As part of reform agenda, the interlocutors touched upon the pension reform in process.
Focusing on the need for striking economic exchanges in a number of areas, the parties have stressed the importance of the Armenian-Slovenian business forum underway in Yerevan. In this context, they concurred in that a better use should be of the opportunities available in the field of tourism.
The President of Slovenia appreciated the days of Armenian culture held in his country with success. Noteworthy is that a series of events were honored by the President’s presence.
