The Prime Minister finds the opening of “Ericson” office in Armenia important
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan took part in the opening ceremony of the Ericsson office in Yerevan.
After cutting the ribbon of the new office’s entrance with the Northern Europe and Central Asia regional director of Ericsson Robert Pushkarich, the Prime Minister greeted the participants and said, "Ericsson has earned wide confidence due to long-term operations and success in informative technologies. The sphere of informative technologies is of primary importance to the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the company’s active operations in the IT market will promote our project. We are eager to see Ericsson increase its activity in out market, promoting the competition and bringing new manners and standards to the business environment. The opening of the office means that Ericsson has far reaching projects in Armenia and that its customers will receive new kinds of quality services.”
The head of the Government emphasized the importance of the new office among the students: it will contribute to educational reform liaising science and education.
Referring to the creation of the broadband cable network program in the IT market, Tigran Sargsyan said,” The realization of this project will promote the competition on the one hand and will create an environment, which will enable a unified network to connect the educational institutions, such as schools, universities, to each other, as well as state governmental agencies on the other: it will also provide all the communities of the republic of Armenia with cheaper and quality services.”
The government will continue the realization of such programs and suggestions in the future, and the presence of “Ericson” in our market gives us confidence that the interest in such programs will be quite large.
