Bulgarian ambassador wraps up mission in Armenia



Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received outgoing Bulgarian ambassador to Armenia Thodor Staikov.

Thanking the ambassador for valuable contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-Bulgarian traditional ties of friendship, the Prime Minister wished him every success in his future activities. Appreciating the diplomat’s tenure-long efforts toward promoting cooperation between the two countries, Tigran Sargsyan assured of Armenia’s keen interest in the development of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects of Armenia - Bulgaria partnership. Both sides stressed the need for making a better use of existing trade and economic potentialities and, in this context, attached great importance to the activities of the Armenian-Bulgarian intergovernmental commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation.
