ARWDF 2010 annual activity report, financial statement approved
Armenia’s Reforestation and Woodland Development Fund (ARWDF) Board of Trustees met in the Office of Government, chaired by BOT chairman, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
ARWDF Executive Director Vladimir Movsisyan presented the Fund’s 2010 annual activity report referring to reforestation and woodland development efforts carried out in Armenia during 2010. The Board of Trustees also heard the 2010 financial statement specifying sources, targets and management of resources. The reports were approved by the Board.
Concerning the actions to be implemented in 2011, Mr. Movsisyan presented the following two projects: irrigation network installation and reforestation efforts on a 51 ha-wide plot of land in Erebuni district of Yerevan. The above two projects were approved by the Board. The first-stage activities imply reforestation and fencing of 20 hectares, with the balance to be developed in 2012.
In conclusion, the meeting approved the Fund’s payroll and the maintenance cost estimate for the year 2011.
