Prime Minister attends “Bridge” forum
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today the 8th international “Bridge” economic forum in Tsakhkadzor. Addressing the forum, the head of government highlighted Armenia’s commitment to hosting international conferences. According to the Prime Minister, the forum should focus on the ways of ensuring macroeconomic stability in the wake of the global crisis. In this connection, Tigran Sargsyan stated in part: “Forums like this bring together intellectuals who try to anticipate and defy challenges in the modern world.” Convinced that the proceedings should be held in an atmosphere of openness and sincerity, Tigran Sargsyan reminded that 3 years ago the government came up with a new vision implying modernization of the educational system and construction of a knowledge-based society and economy.
The Prime Minister next took part in a round table referred to as “The place and the role assigned to entrepreneurship in the implementation of Armenia’s economic development strategy.”
The conference is officially supported by the ministries of economy and foreign affairs.
