Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan-led delegation arrives in Brussels
The Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan-led government delegation arrived in capital of the Kingdom of Belgium Brussels on a 3-day working visit.
In the first half of the day, a dinner was hosted on behalf of the Armenian Prime Minister to honor Mr. Wilfried Martins, chairman of the European People’s Party. Today the head of government will meet with EC Vice president Joaquin Almunia, Commissioner for Energy Gunter Oettinger, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule,
Later today, at the invitation of European Parliament member Mayor Oreja, Tigran Sargsyan will attend a working dinner hosted by the presidium of the European People’s Party.
The delegation is composed of Chief of Government Staff David Sargsyan, Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Chief Economic Adviser to Republic of Armenia President Aram Gharibyan, as well as Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Karine Ghazinyan, Armenian Ambassador to Belgium Avet Adonts,Deputy Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan, ministry and agency staff representatives, other dignitaries.
