Sitting of the Information Technologies Development Support Council (ITDSC) was held today at the RA Government
The regular sitting of the Information Technologies Development Council (ITDSC) was held today at the RA Government, chaired by the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
Turning to the agenda issues, the Council took note of the report on fulfillment of the assignments, given during the ITDSC’s last sitting. In particular, the adviser to the Minister of Economy Vahe Danielyan reported on stealing of electronic communication cables, lines and other equipments of communication infrastructure and lease basis for the use of state and community lands, buildings, as well as the implementation of events, intended with the schedule of the concept of electronic society formation in the RA.
CEO of Union of IT Enterprises Karen Vardanyan referred to the issues in the customs sphere, as well as the issue of creation of necessary preconditions for promoting the electronic commerce development. The consequences of the addendum, made with the HO 208-N law in the 2nd paragraph of article 3 of the RA law "On Value Added Tax" were discussed as well. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan instructed to discuss the given issues with the stakeholder ministries and agencies and present the results at the next sitting.
Another issue was referred to the arising problems during implementation of new orders in the construction sphere provided by the RA law ‘On Licensing’. It was mentioned that the expertise and operational procedures’ order of the documents in the urban sphere and the license form was approved at the RA Government sitting on the April 7th, thus fulfilling the requirements to make changes and additions in the RA law ‘On Licensing’.
Among other issues, the details on organization of "ArmTec2011" conference and the results of the pilot educational program, implemented by the RA Education and Science Ministry, were presented as well.
