Prime Minister participated in the event dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts
Today Tigran Sargsyan participated in the event dedicated to the 65th anniversary of YAFA held at the RA National Gallery. RA Prime Minister the staff of the Academy and noted that he is proud of our talented artists: “Nowadays our art is competitive worldwide and has earned a great recognition.”
On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of YAFA, as well as for his merit and great contribution to art and the education of the creative generation, the Chairman of the Department of Design of academy, Professor Gagik Gevorgyan was granted the title of “RA honored artist”, and the Dean of the Faculty of Design and Applied Decorative Art Avetik Avetisyan was granted with medal after Movses Khorenatsi.
For their contribution to art and education sector Karen Aghamyan, Vigen Ghazaryan and Khachik Azizyan were granted with the RA Prime Minister’s medals. Various awards were given to the professors of the Academy and a number of other artists.
