National Youth Policy Council Meeting
The National Youth Policy Council by the Prime Minister met today in the Office of Government, chaired by council head, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Arsen Karamyan reported on the national youth report drafting activities. The paper was said to be a fundamental document for the implementation of a targeted youth policy. It will help assess the policy impact. The Prime Minister decided to set up a task force entrusted with the coordination of national youth report preparation and publishing works. The group was directed to submit a complex program of activities within a month’s time and report back on the process during council meetings.
The council next heard a report on preparation of the first pan-Armenian young businessmen’s congress. It was assigned to establish a task force for the organization of the congress. Within a month’s time, the group will submit a complex organizational program and will report back on the process during council meetings.
The meeting has also discussed the online system of grant applications and the activities of “Yeritasard” online periodical.
