CANDLE Project Coordination Council Meeting
The CANDLE project coordination council met today in the Office of Government, presided at by head of council, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
The council took note of a progress report, a detailed account of projected and first-stage implementation actions, including the project of laser-operated high-voltage linear accelerator (LINAC), delivered by head of the Education and Science Ministry’s State Research Committee Samvel Haroutunyan and director of Synchrotron Radiation-Based Scientific Research Center by the Yerevan State University Vasili Tsakanov.
The meeting discussed and approved the 2011 action plan for CANDLE project implementation. In conclusion, the status of CANDLE Scientific Research Center was discussed.
