Prime Minister on Working Visit to Rostov-on-Don
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will be off today to Rostov-on-Don (Russia) to attend the 13th sitting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, scheduled for July 8, 2011.
On July 8, as the Armenian co-chair of the commission, Tigran Sargsyan will meet with the Russian co-chair, RF Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, after which he will partake in the proceedings of the commission. Tigran Sargsyan and Igor Levitin are due to give a joint news conference.
The head of government will also call at “Rostselmash” plant of combines where he will tour the laser and assembly shops.
On July 9, Tigran Sargsyan will call at Sourb Haroutune Armenian church of Rostov-on-Don as followed by a visit to the Armenian consulate general and a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian community.
The Prime Minister-led delegation will comprise as follows: Head of Government Staff David Sargsyan, Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Samvel Galstyan, First Deputy Minister of Economy Karine Minasyan, First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Tereteryan, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Manuk Mkrtchyan, Deputy Health Minister Sergey Khachatryan, Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan, Deputy Minister of Diaspora Stepan Petrosyan, Deputy Minister of Urban Development Ruzan Alverdyan, Ararat Marz Governor Edik Barseghyan, other dignitaries.
