Prime Minister’s Working Visit to Rostov-on-Don Kicks Off
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s working visit to the Russian Federation kicked off yesterday.
The head of government is off to Rostov-on-Don to attend the 13th regular sitting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.
Russian co-chair of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, RF Minister of Transport Igor Levitin and Governor of Rostov Region Vassily Golubev welcomed the prime minister-led delegation at Rostov international airport.
Attended by the two co-chairs, a memorandum on cooperation was signed between Ararat marz of Armenia and Rostov Region of Russia. The memorandum, which was signed by governors Edik Barseghyan and Vassily Golubev respectively, implies cooperation in social and economic, cultural, educational and scientific fields.
Note that the sitting of the intergovernmental commission is due today, July 8, 2011.
