PM Receives Volvo Trucks Corporation and Krone Holding GmbH&Co.KG Representatives
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received representatives of Volvo Trucks Corporation and Krone Holding GmbH&Co.KG.
Welcoming the guests, Tigran Sargsyan expressed hope that new cooperation arrangements might be reached during the visit.
The parties have discussed the possibility of cooperating in the field of cross-border motor-borne cargo transportations and agriculture, including the launch of assembly shops for agricultural machinery, trucks and refrigerating facilities of up to 5 tons of capacity and establishment of a specialized warranty service center of regional importance in Armenia.
Noting that agriculture is a priority to his government, Tigran Sargsyan stressed the need for applying new technologies in this sphere.
Briefing the guests on Armenian farm development programs, the Premier pledged support and assured of the government’s continued backing of any successful effort in this field of activity.
Volvo Trucks Corporation and Krone Holding GmbH&Co.KG are currently cooperating with the Armenia-based Spayka Company.
Thanking the Prime Minister for reception, the guests expressed hope that the proposed programs could help further the government’s development strategy.
Volvo Trucks Corporation is a world leader for commercial traffic-related solutions, while Krone Holding GmbH&Co.KG is at the forefront of farm machinery-related industry.
