Luys Foundation-Supported Students Hosted in Government
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Luys foundation-supported students who are in Armenia in the framework of the “We shall develop Armenia” program.
The program participants are visiting Armenian provinces and Artsakh trying to use their knowledge and skills to conceive new development schemes and programs.
The students presented to the Prime Minister a video material entitled “Armenia in the world, the world in Armenia” on the mission of Luys foundation, including the joint work carried out under “We shall develop Armenia” program enabling familiarization with community problems, exchange of insights into the future in a bid to finalize the steps ahead.
During the exchange of views that followed the students stated their points of view concerning the challenges facing Armenia and the Armenian people in the 21st century.
Summing up the meeting, the Prime Minister said knowledge is the main resource in the modern world and we need an educational system up to best international standards in order to build a knowledge-based society in Armenia. In this context, Tigran Sargsyan emphasized the need for international accreditation of the Armenian universities.
