In accordance with Republic of Armenia Prime Minister of Andranik Margaryan's decision, a Republic of Armenia Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs-presided tender committee has been established for selection of text and music for the national anthem of the Republic Armenia. The committee will be composed of representatives of RA Presidency and Government Staff, members of National Assembly, representatives of Ministry of Finance and Economy, Foreign Affairs, Education and Science, NAS Institute of Arts, Union of Writers, music composers and musicologists, the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, NGOs, artists.
The Tender Committee has been charged: within 15 days, develop criteria for selection of text and music for the national anthem; within 20 days, define the terms and conditions for competition and, within a 2 months' period, sum up the results of competition for both text and music and submit to the Government in the established manner.
RA Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs has been charged to approve the human composition of Tender Committee in a week's time and ensure publication of information on competition for selection of RA national anthem's text and music.
