Modern Customs Checkpoints Will Be Built
Today the RA Government held a session, chaired by the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
The Government created a competitive commission for the implementation of the construction projects of Armenian-Georgian borders of Bagratashen, Gogavan-Privolno and Bavra, and approved its staff, composed of representatives of several ministries and departments.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan instructed to prepare in a short time period the rules and the technical task of the contest, in order to start the construction works in Bagratashen, Gogavan and Bavra. “We will build modern customs checkpoints, even complexes, which will include all the services provided by the state. We should be able to provide new quality services by using the “Single Window” principle. It is very important that our projects are consistent with the best international standards,” Tigran Sargsyan said. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the EU colleagues for the provided grant that made the development of the projects possible. “The RA president has given us an urgent task to start the construction works as soon as possible and to create modern customs checkpoints,” the Prime Minister noted, adding that another customs checkpoint is going to be built in Meghri in the near future.
The RA Government made changes in its earlier decisions, which established the air transportation fulfillment orders of products of military importance with the civil aircraft.
Making changes and additions in one of its earlier adopted decisions, the RA Government increased the efficiency of the new standards of automated system of VAT and excise tax set-off and/or payback, which will make it possible for the large number of taxpayers to use the said automatic system. Thereby, the taxpayer-tax inspector communication and documentation will be reduced.
By the Government’s decision, 45 million AMD was provided to the Armenian Chess Federation, in order to grant the 6 members of the Armenian Men’s Chess Team (5 players and one coach), the winners of the eighth World Team Chess Championship held in Ningbo, China, from July 15-26 2011, each with 7.5 million AMD prize. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan once again congratulated the Armenian Golden Team and the entire nation on the glorious victory.
In order to enrich school filmographies and libraries, for the purpose of usage as didactic material for “Armenian History” subject, the RA Government, redistributing the state budget and making changes in one of its earlier decisions, allowed the Ministry of Education and Science to purchase the following films: “Tigran Mets: Hayrenakan Tirakale”, “Jhayrapatkerneric Minchev Aybuben”, “Im Anin”, as well as “Hayoc Petakanutyun” album.
The RA Government made the decision of the further management of agricultural equipment received at the expense of the grant provided by the Japanese Government, approved the foreign citizens’ admission procedures in RA pre-vocational and vocational educational institutions, the record of automobiles’ purchasing procedures, provided as a prize to the winners of ICM coupons’ special numbers lottery.
