Prioritizing the need for boosting cooperation between the Government of Armenia and the World Bank, the parties underscored that a solid groundwork is up to that effect. In this context, the Prime Minister hailed the activities carried out by Asad Alam’s task force.
“We would appreciate, if the World Bank-funded Armenia projects could be stepped up ahead as we need them completed as soon as possible. We should tap on the home potential in this quickly changing world. Those effective and well-targeted programs underway in a number of spheres are of great importance to us,” Tigran Sargsyan pointed out.
With reference to public sector modernization efforts, the interlocutors dwelt on the process of PIU integration with ministry staffs and the steps toward building capacity to that effect.
