“Armenia – Your Partner 2011” Trade Fair Kicks Off In Yerevan
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the opening of “Armenia –You Partner 2011” international trade fair at the Sports and Concert Complex after Karen Demirchyan. The exposition will be effective till October 2, 2011.
Some 200 Armenian and foreign organizations engaged in healthcare, agriculture, tourism, insurance, industry, innovations and information technologies, construction and food industry are participating in the exhibition, presenting over 500 different products.
The head of government was briefed on the activities and the range of products manufactured by those companies in attendance.
Welcoming the participants, Tigran Sargsyan expressed conviction that the expo will help Armenian manufacturers to represent in the best possible manner the products and services available in Armenia. “The exhibition provides a platform for domestic companies to sign cooperation arrangements with foreign partners and expand the scope of joint efforts. The exposition is a way of summarizing the path covered by our country over the past 20 years in order to expose the weak and strong points of our economy with a focus on the home potential. I am sure that the expo will serve its purpose.”
The event’s chief purpose is to build consumer confidence on the Armenian marketplace, create new growth-conducive business ties and jobs, as well as to boost exports through a more pro-active business environment. It is a nice opportunity for foreign investors to survey the Armenian market and hold investment-related talks with local manufacturers.
“Armenia –You Partner 2011” involves Russian, Iranian, Georgian, Bulgarian, Czech and British companies.
