A landslide hit the road section at the 86th kilometer of М6 Vandzor-Bagratashen interstate highway close to Airum railway station (nearby Lchkadzor village) causing interruption in road traffic. According to preliminary data, motor cars have been caught up in the zone of the landslide.
An operative staff has been set up by the Prime Minister’s decision. Competent services are operational at the scene of the incident. The details are being are specified. All the necessary measures are underway to help the passengers of out of the zone.
Everyone is hereby requested to refrain from traveling along Vanadzor-Bagratashen highway.
There is a roundabout road leading to Vanadazor-Dilijan-Idjevan-Bagratashen.
