Ararat Regional Public College Opens In Artashat
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today the opening of the upgraded and modernized State college in Artashat town of Ararat marz.
Accompanied by Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan and Head of EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Raul Lutzenberger; the head of government toured in the educational establishment, getting acquainted with the amenities offered by the college.
Six academic disciplines are taught at the college: pharmaceutics, dental engineering, cosmetology, accounting, logistics and software development.
In the framework of EU-GoA cooperation, a dozen vocational schools have been founded in Armenia during the past few years. The program seeks to improve the quality of vocational education and raise a strong army of skilled specialists in our country. Euro 30mn has been earmarked to that end by the European Union.
