North-South Road Corridor Investment Program Governing Council Holds Meeting
The north-south road corridor and sustainable urban development investment programs governing council met at the Office of Government, chaired by council head, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.The agenda included discussion of the following items: amended technical assignment, budget, invitation of bids, as well as the shortlist as drafted by the evaluation commission and approved by the Asian Development Bank for program management consultant’s services. After a debate, the board decided to endorse the above-mentioned documents.
The meeting has approved a set of amendments to the contract signed on October 4, 2010 with Mar-Mos LLC. The amendments are conditioned by the need to carry out land survey and evaluation activities, as well as conduct public polls in the zone subject to development.
The meeting next approved amendments to the contract signed on September 24, 2010 with Aegis International organization. The amendments seek to relieve the company of technical oversight functions originally specified under the first-tranche activities of the north-south road corridor investment program.
