Tigran Sargsyan Receives Aso Davidyan-Led Delegation
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Davidyan Foundation supervisor, businessman and philanthropist Aso Davidyan.
Welcoming the guests to the Office of Government, the Prime Minister thanked Aso Davidyan for implementation of Davidyan Foundation-supported educational programs that have enabled dozens of youth to get high-quality education at the Fletcher Law and Diplomacy School of the Tufts University of Massachusetts.
“Our Fletcher School graduates are a major asset to the government as hey help us implement reforms and other key programs. In this respect, your undertakings are of great service to Homeland. Our State’s future is conditional on the new thinking which means that we should offer high-quality education to our youth. Therefore, we look forward to cooperating with the world’s best universities with your help.”
Thankful for the Premier’s kind remarks, Aso Davidyan expressed readiness to continue implementing and expanding the scope of educational projects. According to him, Davidyan Foundation seeks to build a badly needed capacity in our country by enabling Armenian youth to get premium-quality higher education abroad.
As decreed by the President of the Republic of Armenia on Armenia’s independence 20th anniversary, Aso Davidyan was awarded Movses Khorenatsi medal for activities aimed at preserving the Armenian identity, valuable services to Homeland, as well as for promoting friendship between the Republic of Armenia and foreign States.
