Tigran Sargsyan Receives Charles Lonsdale

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received outgoing British Ambassador to Armenia Charles Lonsdale. “I do believe you have been a long way toward expanding and furthering the Armenian-British relationship. Great is your personal contribution in this matter,” the head of government emphasized.

The British diplomat said serious progress was made in different areas during his tenure of office: “I am sure to be able to see your country’s progress. Great Britain is greatly interested in developing relations with Armenia,” Charles Lonsdale added. A number of British companies were said interested in making investments in the Republic of Armenia.

The parties also touched upon the EU-Armenia relations, the ongoing reform and other issues.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister wished the Ambassador every success in his future activities.
