PM Receives Outgoing Greek Ambassador



Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received outgoing Greek Ambassador to Armenia Ioannis Korinthios. “Your term of office in Armenia was marked by many challenges and hardships. Your efforts went a long way toward boosting and strengthening our bilateral relations in different areas of activity,” the Prime Minister said.

In turn, Ioannis Korinthios thanked the head of government for continued support and assistance with various programs.

Both sides stressed the importance of enhanced economic cooperation and closer business ties. In this context, Prime Minister Sargsyan emphasized the need for resuming the activities of the Armenian-Greek intergovernmental commission which held its last sitting as early as in 2006.

In conclusion, wishing the Ambassador every success in his future activities, Tigran Sargsyan took the opportunity to extend warm greetings to Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papadimos
