By Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s decision, Igor Zargaryan was appointed Adviser to Prime Minister on non-profit basis.

Igor Zargaryan was born in 1965 in Yerevan.
In 1981, he left the secondary school after Pushkin of Yerevan. In 1986, he graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department of Yerevan K. Marx Polytechnic Institute and continued his graduate studies at the Law Department of Russian Academy of State Service under the President.
In 1986-1988, first he was engineer at the Electromash Research Institute, then he worked as engineer-technologist at the Special Design and Technological Bureau. In 1988-1993, he was shop superintendent at Mars production association of Yerevan. In the period between 1994 and 1996, Mr. Zargaryan served as Deputy Manager of Veteran-Invest Foundation.
In 1996-2011, he worked at Union JSC (reorganized into Soyuz manufacturing-experimental company in 1997) first as Deputy Director-General and then as Chief Executive Officer. In 2011-2012, he held the post of Adviser to the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
Mr. Zargareyan is non-party.
