Tigran Sargsyan and Igor Levitin Get Acquainted with the Programs of Yerevan Research Institute of Mathematical Machines
Co-chairs of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan and RF Transport Minister Igor Levitin visited Yerevan Research Institute of Mathematical Machines. The co-chairs got acquainted with the programs implemented within the framework of the idea of creation of a free economic zone and the upcoming projects of the institute.
The institute is currently engaged in the production of extra-resistant glasses by means of innovative technology and has 400 employees.
Speaking to reporters about the creation of free economic zone in the territory of the Institute, Levitin said that Armenia's government, as promised, adopted all the necessary normative acts, and in the nearest future the manager of the zone "Sitronics Armenia" Armenian-Russian joint venture will present the program of activity and in the coming 6 months documental works will be implemented.
The operational mode of the free economic zone was set in fields such as precision engineering, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, information technology, alternative energy, industrial design, communication, etc.
