RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan's Congratulatory Message on Day of Victory and Peace

Dear Compatriots,

Honorable Great Patriotic War Veterans and Participants of the Freedom-Fight for Artsakh,

I am congratulating you warmly on the Day of Victory and Peace. This Day is the outcome of your self-sacrifice and heroism, those numerous privations and hardships suffered by you and the lives of several thousands of our heroes.

The victory over fascism at the Great Patriotic War and the end of the World War II was crucial to the whole mankind. Both on the frontlines of that time and during the years of the freedom-fight for Artsakh, the people of Armenia defended their homes and Motherland, their right to living in peace and leading creative activities. These heroic chapters of victory contain numerous episodes of expression of our people's freedom-loving spirit and unbreakable will. I bid eternal glory and low bows to the memory of those devotees who fell for the sake of Motherland salvation.

Today, as civilized mankind is facing new challenges
