Inspection Reform Coordination Council Holds Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Inspection Reform Coordination Council held its fifth meeting at the Office of Government.
The Inspection Reform Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy reported on the activities implemented in the period under review. It was noted that the summary version of the annual audit plan will be posted on the official website of the Ministry of Economy.
The meeting looked at issues relating to the application of the law on organization and conduct of inspections as adopted by the National Assembly on June 23, 2011. The Prime Minister ordered to develop and submit a sample form of the annual audit plan.
The Council next discussed and approved the proposal to develop a unified system for exchange of electronic data. Summing up the recommendations voiced at the meeting, the head of government instructed to develop and submit by September 1, 2012 a technical proposal on system functionality.
The next agenda item bore on State Labor Inspectorate’s questionnaire test results. The questions included in the form were said to have been amended, with the amended draft to be submitted to the government for approval. The meeting next approved 12 draft forms for the fire safety and technical inspectorates and backed the proposal to start the testing phase.
The Prime Minister said the tests carried out by the State Labor Inspectorate should be made a precedent for other inspectorates and that the first checks should be carried out in public agencies. The inspectorates concerned were told to develop specific application guidelines and required sample forms.
