PM Receives Ukraine’s State Customs Service Head

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Chairman of State Customs Service of Ukraine Igor Kaletnik.

“We are pleased to see that close ties of cooperation are being formed between the customs authorities of Armenia and Ukraine. We will endeavor to further develop and strengthen those relations,” Tigran Sargsyan pointed out.

The head of Ukraine’s State Customs Service said his country is keen on developing relations with friendly Armenia, which is among Ukraine’s key trade partners. In this context, Igor Kaletnik advised that the customs procedures will soon be simplified for the Armenian goods transiting from Ilyichevsk to Poti.

Other issues have been discussed, including the exchange of experience and bilateral cooperation between the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
