Tigran Sargsyan Receives Israeli Agriculture and Rural Development Minister

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Israeli Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Orit Nokedi.

”Your visit can be considered as a new step in Armenian-Israeli relations. We appreciate it and are ready to go that way,” the Prime Minister stated, adding that there is a broad range of cooperation, especially in the economic sphere. Noting that Israel’s modern farming technologies will be of great service to our country, the Premier stressed the importance of exchange of experience.

Thanking Tigran Sargsyan for a warm welcome, Orit Nokedi said a cooperation arrangement is going to be signed between the two countries in the agricultural sector. “We are ready to impart our expertise to you, and I do believe that we can successfully implement practical programs. I am also confident that we can cooperate in other sectors as well,” the Israeli Minister stated.

Orit Nokedi advised that an Armenian-Israeli working group will be set up to this end.

The parties talked over cooperation possibilities in tourism, pharmaceuticals, engineering and other areas of mutual interest.
