Tigran Sargsyan Receives Head Of International Standardization Organization
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Head of the International Organization for Standardization Boris Alyushin.
“In your person, we have a good partner in standardization-related activities. I am pleased that our cooperation also contributes to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Armenia and Russia,” Tigran Sargsyan said.
Pleased with the ongoing cooperation with the ISO, the Prime Minister thanked Mr. Alyushin for assistance with the work on introduction of international standards in Armenia.
The Prime Minister and the President of the International Organization for Standardization discussed issues relating to bilateral cooperation, Armenia’s standardization-associated reforms and harmonization efforts.
85 international (ISO) and European (EN) standards will be developed and introduced in Armenia under the national standardization program for 2012.
