PM Receives Bryusov Linguistics University Students
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with a group of students from the Linguistics University after Bryusov.
At the students’ request, the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan commented on the recent decision to dismiss Suren Zolyan from the post of Rector of the University.
The head of government pointed out that while the Minister of Education and Science had acted in line with the Armenian legislation, still there are attempts to make this issue a subject of political speculations.
In addition, the Prime Minister assured that the media-fostered rumors about the planned merger of the State Linguistics University and the State Pedagogical University are a mere nonsense.
The students said they were far from troubling about who would hold the post of Rector and only wanted to be aware of any problem related to the University.
At their earnest request, the Minister of Education and Science will soon meet with the students of the University to address all the queries of concern.
