Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by German Kommerzbank executive board member, head of financial institutions Christopher-Gabriel Metze.

The parties talked over the German bank’s ongoing activities, the cooperation with the Armenian partners and the current economic situation in Europe.

At the guests’ request, the Prime Minister briefed them on Armenia’s economic policies and development prospects and, in this context, dwelt on his government’s industrial strategy.

Christopher-Gabriel Metze said many of Kommerzbank’s partners are engaged in the sectors highlighted by the strategy and, therefore, will be interested in making investments. The parties agreed to hold a business forum in Germany to raise awareness of Armenia’s economic programs.
