CIS Government Heads Council Holds Regular Meeting
On May 30, the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan-led government delegation attended the planned meeting of CIS Council of Heads of Government in Ashgabad.
The agenda comprised about two dozen issues relating to the concept of liberalization of services in the financial markets of member countries, CIS hydrometeorology service strategy development program, draft integrated currency market and cooperation agreement, cooperation agreement in the field of information security, agreement on creation of vegetation quarantine coordination council, agreement on establishment of tourism council, agreement on cooperation in the field engineering support of the armed forces, amendments in the agreement on parallel operations of energy systems.
Upon completion of narrow- and extended-format meetings and document signing ceremonies, the member-country government heads made statements for the press.
Later today, the Prime Minister-led government delegation will be back to Yerevan.
