Asad Alam Introduces Newly Appointed WB Regional Director To Prime Minister
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received outgoing World Bank Regional Director for South Caucasus Asad Alam. Mr. Alam introduced to the Prime Minister Henry Keral who is going to take over the post of World Bank Regional Director for South Caucasus.
“I think our cooperation has recorded significant progress in recent years. We moved forward in all the target areas and we do not have any failed program,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
Appreciative of Mr. Alam’s personal contribution, Tigran Sargsyan thanked him for cooperation.
In turn, Asad Alam congratulated Tigran Sargsyan on reappointment to the post of Prime Minister and the Republican Party’s successful performance at parliamentary elections.
“Our bilateral cooperation with your team was of very high level and we managed to implement numerous programs. Thank you for experience and assistance,” Asad Alam said.
Mr. Keral in turn expressed willingness to continue building on the high-level cooperation with the Armenian government.
The parties have also talked about the ongoing joint programs.
