PM Meets the Participants of Scout Grouping in Byurakan
On the 10th of August Prime-Minister Tigran Sargsyan met the participants of international scout team in Byurakan on the occasion of 100th anniversary of Armenian Scout Foundation. The Head of the Government got acquainted with the scouts’ everyday life, activities and upcoming projects.
Tigran Sargsyan congratulated the participants on the 100th anniversary of Armenian scout movement and said: "The essence of our meeting is that we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Armenian scout movement, a movement which is essential for the nurture of the youth. The main characteristic feature of Armenian scout movement is patriotism and protection of the nation. The scout movement educates young people’s sense of responsibility towards their own self, their country and towards their friends."
Over 200 scouts from 14 countries take part in the scout grouping in Byurakan which was organized on the initiative of Armenian scout movement.
