PM Receives Delegation Headed by the Vice President of “Orange-France Telecom” Company

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation headed by the Vice President of “Orange-France Telecom” company Benua Shin. Welcoming the guests, the Head of the Government said, “In 2009, we provided an opportunity to “Orange” to enter the Armenian market. Today we can say that the Government’s decision was fully justified, because we have since had new companies, which have increased the competition in the communications field, raised the level of quality of the provided services and their accessibility, which was, of course, beneficial for our citizens.”
Vice President of “Orange-France Telecom” company thanked the RA Government for the support. Benua Shin said that “Orange” is willing to continue to make further investments in our country, as well as increase the number of provided services. In response to this, the Prime Minister assured Benua Shin that the company had RA Government’s support for the further implementation of their projects.
Afterwards, Benua Shin presented the company’s new general manager Francis Gelibter to Tigran Sargsyan, who will replace Bruno Duthoit in his position.
Tigran Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the latter, for the work done in our country, and wished success to the new manager of “Orange Armenia” company in his further activities.
The parties also discussed issues related to the development of Internet connections within the whole territory of Armenia, as well as the possibility of investing Armenian keyboards in cell phones.
