PM Receives the Delegation of Gazprombank




Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation of “Gazprombank” OJSC, led by the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Nikolay Korenev. Welcoming the guests at the Government, the Prime Minister said, “We hope that these meetings will contribute to the deepening of bilateral cooperation and the development of joint projects in the banking sector.”
Nikolay Korenev informed that “Gazprombank” intends to deepen its activities in Armenia. Tigran Sargsyan approved of the plans and noted that it will contribute to the growth of competition in the Armenian banking sector, enhancing the further development of the sphere.
The parties addressed the issues of bilateral cooperation, particularly, the trade and economic programs between Armenia and Russia, which are being developed by the joint intergovernmental commission on economic, as well as the prospects and the activities for the development of “Nairit” chemical plant.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Nikolay Korenev also discussed issues related to the programs implemented within the framework of the Armenian-Russian interregional forum and the possible involvement of “Gazprombank” in these programs.
