Members of the Democratic Liberal Party Present the Party’s Future Plans to the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the representatives of the Democratic Liberal Party’s executive body, headed by the Chairman of the Board Hakob Avetiqyan. “I’m glad the Democratic Liberal Party began the process of reunification and consolidation. As far as the RA Government is concerned, our traditional parties should be strong and united, because it is one of the most important means of self-regulation of the Armenian nation. Any disruption of traditional parties is not in the best interest of our country,” said the Head of the Government. The Prime Minister noted that the Government is interested in rising DLP’s role in the Armenian political field.
The representatives of the Democratic Liberal Party presented the party’s upcoming projects to the Prime Minister and informed that in the future they plan to engage in active political activities, as well as participate in the elections to local self-government bodies. They assured that they are ready to contribute to Armenia’s progress, the development of small and medium businesses and to the fight against oligopolies.
Then the sides touched upon the Syrian-Armenian investment processes in Armenia. Tigran Sargsyan said that the state is ready to support the Syrian-Armenian businessmen; in particular, the latter can submit their business plans to Armenian Development Agency and receive answers to their questions and other necessary help.
The Prime Minister reminded that the Government had released the Syrian-Armenians of numerous procedural regimes and administrative operations.
The parties also discussed issues related to the existing problems in the fields of Education and Science and the possible steps to their solutions.
