Government Commission On Edward Mirzoyan Passing Holds Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the government commission, established in connection with the demise of Armenia and former Soviet Union People’s Artist, famous composer Edward Mirzoyan met in the Office of Government. Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan reported progress in the funeral preparations.
On October 7, 2012, a memorial service for Edward Mirzoyan will be held at the Yerevan Chamber Music Hall after Komitas from 18:00 to 20:00. On October 8, from 12:00 to 14:00, last farewell will be bid to Edward Mirzoyan in the Philharmonic Hall after Aram Khachatryan, after which the funeral ceremony will be held at the Yerevan Pantheon after Komitas.
