Inspection Reform Coordination Council Holds Regular Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Inspection Reform Coordination Council held its seventh sitting in the Office of Government.
The meeting discussed and approved the draft checklists of State inspectorates for fire safety, environment and natural resources.
Then the council concentrated on the risk-based audit methodology and draft checklists of the transport and energy state inspectorates. The State Transport Inspectorate’s draft checklist was approved by the council. As to the checklists of the State Energy Inspectorate, the head of government instructed the inspection reform task force to review some details and submit a finalized version.
Once approved, the aforementioned drafts will be submitted to the government for approval.
The council next approved a set of draft commitments to be assumed by the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Authority and the General Department for Civil Aviation under international agreements.
