Tigran Sargsyan Welcomes Prime Minister Of Moldova
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Prime Minister of Moldova Vlad Filat who is in Armenia to attend the Eastern Partnership Leaders Summit of the European People’s Party.
Welcoming the guest, Tigran Sargsyan said, “I am confident that your visit will give a new impetus to bilateral relations and will boost exchanges between Armenia and Moldova.”
The Prime Minister of Moldova said his country is interested in the deepening and expanding of relationship with Armenia. Vlad Filat went on to emphasize that Moldova attaches great importance to the cooperation with Armenia in the framework of CIS and the Eastern Partnership.
Dissatisfied with the current pace of economic relations, the interlocutors stressed the need to resume the work of the Armenian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. The two heads of government arranged to take specific steps toward developing a new agenda of economic cooperation.
Noting the importance of sharing reform-related know-how, Tigran Sargsyan and Vlad Filat discussed a number of other issues.
