Dr. Petrosyan is an Associate Professor at the American University of Armenia, has 21 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and 36 published scientific abstracts. She has led many health services research projects in Armenia and authored/co-authored 44 reports about those projects. She has extensively presented her work at international scientific meetings and conferences, organized many seminars, workshops, panel discussions and trainings. She has been elected to the Delta Omega Alpha Chapter of the USA National Public Health Honorary Society in April 2006. Since 2011, she is the Associate Editor of the International Journal for Equity in Health, an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal presenting evidence relevant to the search for, and attainment of, equity in health across and within countries.
