Hackaton [YAN], ATS 2012 Innovative Technology Awards Finalized
On December 26, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended a gala event featuring Hackaton [YAN] and ATS 2012 innovative ideas and programming contest awards, which is held for the second time in Armenia.
37 teams involving 130 participants took part in Hackaton [YAN] contest.
Prizes were awarded to the teams, the winner in the following categories: Best Microsoft Technology-Based Solution, Best App Windows 8, Best Phone Application Windows 8, Best App Android, Best App iOS, Best Community Solution, Best Media Project and Photo Effects for Telephone Applications PicsArt.
If held last year Hackaton [YAN] was aimed at solving the problems of Yerevan, in 2012 this competition was not thematic restrictions.
This format of the event, which was launched in Silicon Valley, allows using the latest technology, teamwork and collaboration of programmers and other professionals in just 24 hours to develop and submit to the jury an idea that has no thematic limitations and the preliminary version of the proposed solutions / programs / applications .
20 projects were presented in the qualifying round of ATS 2012 (best startup companies). ATS awards were given to the winners in the following categories: Best Solution B2B (Business to Business), Best Solution B2C (Business to Consumer) / B2G (Business to Government) and Guest Choice.
