CIS Council Of Heads Of Government Holds Regular Meeting
The CIS Council of Heads of Government held a scheduled meeting in Minsk. The narrow-format meeting was followed by an extended session of heads of government.
After discussing a number of agenda items, the heads of government signed different cooperation agreements. In particular, the meeting took note of and approved the activities carried out in 2012 under the interstate program of innovation cooperation, effective until 2020.
The following instruments were signed: concept of the CIS Bank for Innovations; agreement on coordinated action in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, cooperation arrangements in the fields of environmental protection and official statistics, as well as other documents.
As proposed by the Russian Federation, the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government will be held in Russia on November 20, 2013.
